This was an unique experience. I've never had Sri Lankan food before. I came for the weekend buffet. The best way I would describe it is South Asian style cuisine with some SE Asian influence. The curries in particular had a lot of coconut milk in them so if you like that style you will love the selection here. They were mindful not to overpower the food with spice or flavor so everything had a somewhat mild texture to it. Something tells me that in Sri Lanka the food is probably a lot spicier. Of particular note was the ambiance. It's a small space but after looking carefully, you can see that the decorations did not interfere with their floor space. It definitely aids with the experience.

I enjoyed my meal! First time having Sri Lankan food. I wish there had been options beside the buffet since there were some specific dishes is wanted to try but what they had out was delicious. Note: buffet is cash only on the weekends.

Outstanding restaurant. From the moment you see the restaurant from the street, you feel like you’re walking into someone’s home. We came on a Saturday and enjoyed their all-you-can-eat buffet, along with a couple of juice drinks. We’d never had Sri Lankan food before and absolutely loved it. Delicious flavors and a fantastic overall experience. Highly, highly recommend and will be sending friends to Staten Island just to try this place!

*CASH ONLY ON WEEKENDS* Loved the atmosphere of the place as it looks like a Buddhist temple. Great service and got a table relatively quickly. The food selection is outstanding and greatly delicious. Big fan of the vegetarian curries! Buffet during the weekends and be sure to arrive early to get a table. Safe space for dessert as they have delicious puddings.

When I first saw the exterior of this restaurant, I was absolutely intrigued. The ornate carvings, majestic statues, and shimmering golden doors beckoned me to come in. The place was crowded and everyone seemed to be enjoying their meal. Upon being seated in one of the elaborate chairs, I had to pause and take in the visual feast around me. The cozy interior was adorned with 360 degree of stunning ornate collectibles from Sri Lanka, exquisite tchotchkes adorning the walls and hanging from the ceilings, creating a continuous visual stimulus. The hostess greeted me and explained that I could either scan the menu code or enjoy the wonderful lunch buffet for $21. (Since I visited during the weekend lunch hour, I'm unsure if the price changes at other times.) Noticing that everyone else was enjoying the buffet, I decided to follow suit, and I'm so glad I did. I'm a huge fan of Sri Lankan cuisine, and the buffet was a delight. They have hot entrΓ©es in shallow cauldrons that are constantly being refilled. The spread consisted of many vegetarian delights alongside a few meat entrΓ©es, such as deviled chicken and pork curry. My personal favorites were the eggplant, dal lentils, and the ka
